Hi!!!

How are you? My name is Fatima and I’m 15 years old. I’m from Berga and I’m very exciting to write this letter. I don’t know what I can say but well I’m going to tell you what are my favorite things, about my family…

I have one sister and one brother; they are 5 and 12 years old. My favorite color is red and my favorite foods are the chicken and the chocolate but if I must to try one of them I prefer the chocolate.

I love the music, without music I can’t live… and I love sing, too. My favorite group of music is One Direction and my favorite singers are Bruno Mars, Adele and Rihanna.

At the weekends I love meet my friends and go to the cinema or go shopping. Every weekend I go to the cinema because I love saw movies.

Another thing that I love do too is write and read books. My favorite is the Harry Potter’s Saga. Mmmm… and here ends my letter because I don’t know what another thing I can say.

Cómo estás? Mi nombre es Fatima y tengo 15 años. Soy de Berga i estoy muy emocionada por escribirte esta carta. No sé que puedo decir pero bueno te voy a contar cuales son mis cosas favoritas, sobre mi familia…

Tengo una hermana y un hermano, de 5 y 12 años. Mi color favorito es el rojo i mis comidas favoritas son el pollo y el chocolate pero si tuviera que elegir entre ellos, prefiero el chocolate.

Adoro a la música y sin la música no puedo vivir… y también me gusta mucho cantar. Mi grupo favorito de música es One Direction y mis cantantes favoritos son Bruno Mars, Adele y Rihanna.

Los fines de semana me gusta quedar con mis amigos para ir al cine o ir de compras. Cada fin de semana voy al cine porque me encanta ver películas.

Otra cosa que me gusta mucho hacer es escribir y leer libros. Mi favorito es la saga de Harry Potter. Mmmm…y aquí termina mi carta porque ya no sé que cosa mes te puedo decir.

Hi! My name is Paula Soldevila and I live in Berga, Barcelona. I am only fourteen years old and I live with my parents. I like Berga a lot because it is a beautiful small city next to the mountains where you can enjoy wonderful views and you can practise a lot of different sports, for example parachuting, climbing, mountain running, cycling, etc.

Let’s talk about my family! I have got no brothers and sisters, I’m an only child. Some people think that only children are selfish and spoilt but it isn’t true, I am a hard-working person, I am organized, self-confident and responsible too.

I don’t like big dogs but I have got a little dog called Bianca. She is very beautiful and charming. I have also got two colourful birds. Their names are Jordina and Blai. They live on a big cage at my grandparents’ house

I’m a very active girl and I like practising all types of sports. Some of my friends and I often go for a walk to the top of Queralt, a mountain that is next to Berga. My favourite sports are walking, hockey and running.

When I become older, I would like to travel around de world because I like visiting new places and discovering new things. My favourite place in the world is New York because of its tall skyscrapers, its big parks, etc. Since I was young my favourite place has been New York and that’s where I would like to go someday.

Physically I have got beautiful brown eyes and long dark wavy hair. I am a little short too. I like wearing trendy clothes. About my studies, I am studying third of ESO and my high school’s name is INS Guillem de Berguedà. We have got three different classes of third, A, B and C and I go to class B. I like a lot my class because we all are friends.

Hola! Mi nombre es Paula Soldevila y vivo en Berga, Barcelona. Solo tengo catorce años y, por lo tanto, vivo con mis padres. Me gusta mucho Berga porque es una hermosa ciudad pequeña al lado de las montañas, donde se puede disfrutar de maravillosas vistas y se puede practicar una gran cantidad de deportes, por ejemplo paracaidismo, escalada, carreras de montaña, ciclismo, etc..

Vamos a hablar de mi familia! Yo no tengo hermanos ni hermanas, soy hija única. Algunas personas piensan que los hijos únicos son egoístas y mimados, pero en mi caso no es cierto, yo soy una persona muy trabajadora, organizada, segura de mi misma y responsable también.

No me gustan los perros grandes, pero tengo uno pequeño llamado Bianca. Ella es preciosa y encantadora. También tengo dos pájaros de colores. Sus nombres son Jordina y Blai. Viven en una gran jaula en casa de mis abuelos.

Soy una chica muy activa y me gusta practicar todo tipo de deportes. Algunos de mis amigos y yo vamos a menudo a dar un paseo hasta la cima de Queralt, una montaña que está al lado de Berga. Mis deportes favoritos son el hockey, correr y caminar.

Cuando sea mayor, me gustaría viajar alrededor del mundo, porque me gusta visitar nuevos lugares y descubrir cosas nuevas. Mi lugar favorito en el mundo es Nueva York, debido a sus altos rascacielos, sus grandes parques, et. Desde que era pequeña mi lugar favorito ha sido Nueva York y ahí es donde me gustaría viajar algún día.

Físicamente tengo unos hermosos ojos marrones y el cabello largo, oscuro y ondulado. Soy un poco bajita. Me gusta llevar ropa a la moda. Acerca de mis estudios, estoy estudiando tercero de la ESO y el nombre de mi instituto es INS Guillem de Berguedà. Tenemos tres clases diferentes de tercero, la A, la B y la C y yo voy a la clase B. Me gusta mucho mi clase porque todos somos muy amigos.

Abril

Hello! My name is Abril and I’m fourteen years old, but I will turn fifteen in a month. I live in Berga in a big house with my parents, my younger brother and my two dogs, Ron and Gin.  Ron is the blond one and he is three years old and Gin is the dark one and she is only one year old. My younger brother is ten years old and in October he will turn eleven, I love him but we are always angry with each other for something.
I don’t have many hobbies, but I love hanging out with my friends, reading books, watching TV, listening to the music...
My dream is going to live in New York or L.A, and for this reason I’m studying English to hard, but I’m not only studying English, but I’m studying French as well, and I would like to learn more languages because I think is very funny  know a lot of languages. I would like to learn Germany, Japanese, Italian... and all the languages that I can do.
I really like travelling, I love visiting new places and go everywhere in the world. Last summer I went to Italy, and it was awesome, Italy is very beautiful, and the foot is great. I have been in France as well and it is very beautiful too, there are a lot of beautiful, big palaces, rivers, castles and houses.
In the future I would like to be a very good surgeon, and stay in a very good hospital so I can help people and heal them if they need my help.

Hola, me llamo Abril i tengo catorce años, pero voy a hacer los quince en un mes. Vivo en Berga en una casa grande con mis padres, mi hermano pequeño y mis dos perros, Ron y Gin. Ron es el rubio y tiene tres años y Gin es la oscura y tiene solo un año. Mi hermano pequeño tiene diez años y en Octubre hará los once, lo quiero mucho pero siempre estamos enfadados el uno con el otro pero alguna cosa.

No tengo muchos hobbies, pero me encanta salir con mis amigas, leer libros, mirar la TV, escuchar música…

Mi sueño es ir a vivir a Nueva York o L.A (Los Ángeles), y por esa razón estoy estudiando Inglés muy duro, pero no estoy solo estudiando Inglés, sino que estoy estudiando Francés también, y me gustaría aprender más lenguas porque pienso que es muy divertido saber muchas lenguas. Me gustaría aprender Alemán, Japonés, Italiano… y todas las lenguas que pueda hacer.

Me gusta mucho viajar, i me encanta visitar nuevos lugares e ir a todas partes del mundo. El verano pasado fui a Italia y fue increíble, Italia es muy bonita y la comida es genial. He estado en Francia también y es muy bonita también, hay muchos palacios, ríos, casteles y casas bonitas y grandes.

En el futuro me gustaría ser una muy buena cirujana, y estar en un buen hospital para poder ayudar a la gente y curarlos si necesitan mi ayuda.

Hi there! My name is Jordi Biarnés Belso , I’m 15 years old and I study 3rd of ESO at the Guillem de Bergueda high school. I live in Berga, a little town in the province of Barcelona, in Spain. I used to live in Barcelona but I moved to Berga because is where my father lived when he was young and where my grandparents live. I speak Catalan, Spanish and I’m learning English. I play tennis and I go jogging when I can. I like reading books and I used to play the piano but I gave up because I didn’t like it, though I would like to play it again. I would like to be a pilot because I would like to travel around the world, or a writer, because I like to invent stories. I would also like to live in another country, but I don’t know where could i move to.

I would like to participate in the exchange  in order to meet new people and learn about their culture, and for practice talking English and help other people learn Spanish.

Hola! Me llamo Jordi Biarnés Belso, tengo 15 años y estudio 3º de Eso en el instituto Guillem de Bergueda. Vivo en Berga, una pequeña ciudad de la provincia de Barcelona. Antes vivía en Barcelona pero me mudé a Berga porque es donde mi padre vivió de pequeño y donde viven mis abuelos. Hablo Catalán, Castellano y estoy aprendiendo inglés. Juego a tenis y voy a correr cuando puedo. Me gusta leer libros y solía tocar el piano pero lo dejé porque no me gustaba, aunque ahora me gustaría volver a tocarlo. De mayor me gustaria ser piloto de avión porque me gustaria viajar por todo el mundo o escritor porque me gusta inventarme historias. También me gustaría ir a vivir a otro país pero no sé a qué país podría ir. 

Me gustaria participar en el intercambio de alumnos para conocer nueva gente y otra cultura, y para enseñar a otros la cultura de mi país, y para poder practicar mi inglés con otra gente y ayudarles a aprender español.  Adiós.

Hello, my name is Sonia and I'm 15 years old. I'm from Berga, and i Like it because in the winter the wather is cold but not much and in summer the weather it's good. Berga has got very beautiful views, too.  I have got dark and long hair and brown eyes. I’m not very tall.  I haven’t got any brothers and sisters but I have got a dog. Her name is Lluna and it’s very nice and intelligent. I have got a lot of different and amazing hobbies. I love sport and so, I go to the gym every day and I play paddle, too. When I was five years old I began to play a music instrument, the piano and now I still play it. I like it so much!  My favourtie music is flaix fm but there are some other songs that I like them.  I love fashion and go shopping, too. At the High School I usually wear blue or black jeans and a sweater or a T-shirt.  At the weekends I like to meet my friends and go to the cinema or walk in the street. Sometimes we go to the concerts, too. I like it very much. I don’t like study but I like take good marks and therefore, I must study.
My high school name is “IES Guillem de Bergueda”.

Hola, soy Sonia y tengo 15 años. Soy de Berga y me gusta porque en invierno hace frío pero no mucho y en verano el clima es bueno. También tiene unas vistas bonitas. Tengo el pelo largo y oscuro con ojos marrones. No soy muy alta. No tengo ni hermanos ni hermanas, pero tengo un perro. Se llama Luna y es muy bonita e inteligente. Tengo muchos hobbies diferentes y emocionantes. Me encanta hacer deporte y por eso voy al gimnasio cada día y también practico paddle. Cuando tenía cinco años empecé a tocar un instrumento, el piano y ahora todavía lo practico. Me gusta mucho! Mi música favorita es flaix fm pero hay otras canciones que me gustan. Me gusta mucho la moda e ir de compras. Al instituto normalmente llevo unos tejanos o unos pantalones azules y una camiseta o un jersey. A los fines de semana me gusta quedar con mis amigas e ir al cine o pasear por la calle. Algunas veces, vamos a conciertos. Me gustan mucho. No me gusta estudiar, pero me gusta sacar buenas notas por lo tanto tengo que estudiar. El nombre de mi instituto es IES Guillem de Bergueda.

Laia

Hello, my name is Laia, I am fiveteen years old, I am a quiet girl I love to have fun with my friends and meet new people. I am tall and thin, I have brown and curly hair, my eyes are brown and I love fashion. I was born in Berga but I live in small town next to Berga called Avià, It has got 2.000 habitants, it is small but very nice and very quiet. I live in a house in the center of the town.

My parents are Ramon and Teresa, and I also have one sister. Her name is Marta, she is nineteen years old and she is studying at University of Barcelona. I have one pet, it is a rabbit and its name is Boleta. I love the animals, my favorite one is the dog.

I like going to school, my favorite subjects are: English, Art, P.E and Biology. My favorite day is Friday because every Friday I go swimming with my friend Paula. I enjoy doing sport, I like running, swimming, playing basketball and in winter I love skiing. I usually go to France with my family and we practice ski. I like meeting with my friends and having a good time with them, we meet at the weekends. I love to travel and discover new places; my dream is to travel around the world.

Soy alta i delgada, tengo el pelo castaño y rizado mis ojos son marrones y me gusta mucho la moda.  Nací en Berga pero vivo a un pequeño pueblo del lado que se llama Avià, tiene 2.000 habitantes, es pequeño per bonito y tranquilo. Vivo en una casa al centro del pueblo.

 Mis padres son Ramón i Teresa, también tengo una hermana que se llama Marta, tiene diecinueve años y está estudiando en la Universidad de Barcelona. Tengo una mascota, un conejo y su nombre es Boleta. Me gustan los animales, mi favorito es el perro.

Me gusta ir al colegio, mis asignaturas favoritas son: inglés, pintura, E.d física y biología. Mi día favorito es el viernes porqué cada viernes voy a nadar con mi amiga Paula. Disfruto haciendo deporte, me gusta correr, nadar, jugar al básquet y en el invierno me encanta esquiar. Suelo  ir a Francia con mi familia a practicar el esquí. Me gusta quedar con mis amigos y pasar un buen rato con ellos, nosotros quedamos los fines de semana. Me encanta viajar y descubrir nuevos sitios; mi sueño es hacer la vuelta al mundo.  

Miquel

Hi, my name is Miquel Masanas, I’m 14 years old and I live in Berga. I study in Guillem de Berguedà, I’m on the third of the ESO.  I live in my house with my parents. I have one brother, who lives in Barcelona during the week, because he studies in the university there. I play tennis since I was six, for six hours a week, and I also study French, German and English. I like all kind of music, but I prefer classic rock and pop rock.  I like comedies, such as The Big Bang Theory, How I met your mother, two and a half men, the Simpsons, and many others. I also like playing computers games. I love technology. I enjoy hanging up with my friends, reading, doing sport, … I use to go to my grandparents house in Saldes, a little village under a mountain called Pedraforca. It’s a very nice place. I love a festivity in Berga called Patum. It is from Wednesday to Sunday, and people from all over the country come to enjoy it.  I love this festivity.

Hola, me llamo Miquel Masanas, tengo 14 años y vivo en Berga. Estudio en el instituto Guillem de Berguedà, ahora mismo estudio 3ro de la ESO. Vivo en  una casa con mis padres y mi hermano, aunque él se pasa la semana en la universidad en Barcelona. Juego al tenis desde pequeño, y además aprendo inglés, francés y alemán. Me gustan casi todos los tipos de música, pero sobretodo pop rock y rock clásico.  Me interesa mucho entrar en el programa de intercambios para conocer nuevos países y porque quiero, ya que me gusta mucho, viajar. Me gustan sobretodo las series de humor, como The Big Bang Theory, How I met your mother, two and a half men, y otras como  the simpsons or family dad. Me gustan los videojuegos, y pasar el rato en el ordenador, pero también quedar con mis amigos e ir por la ciudad. Suelo pasar los fines de semana en casa de  mis abuelos en Saldes, un pueblo pequeño a la base de una montaña muy bonita llamada Pedraforca. Una de las fiestas más importantes de mi ciudad es la Patum, que dura cinco días, y vienen personas de todos lados a disfrutar esta fiesta que me encanta.
